All about the hot tub

A ritual of pure, private, unhurried wellness. Immerse yourself in hot water, refreshed for every arrival without the use of chlorine or chemicals, and let yourself be cradled by the silence of nature. Your hot tub awaits you at the perfect temperature.

How does this service work?

The day before your arrival, we will message you on WhatsApp to see what time you would like to use it. Not because there is a time limit (it is yours to enjoy for as long as you like), but so we can have it ready and at the perfect temperature for the time you indicate.

We will have it ready for your arrival because it takes a long time to prepare, and we don't want to disturb your stay by coming and going to add wood. You will simply remove the thermal cover when you are ready to bathe and can stay as long as you like.

Why is it a paid service if every Yurt has its own private tub?

Because it requires extensive preparation, about 5 hours for each tub, and significant maintenance.

We change the water for every new arrival and do not use any chemical agents or chlorine. The water is then recycled for irrigation.

The filter, which keeps the water clean during your stay, is a special biological bacterial filter also equipped with a sanitizing UV lamp.

Can I do it in winter? And what if it rains?

Of course, in fact, it is very atmospheric! The only cases in which it will not be usable are strong wind or thunderstorms. Even with light rain, without lightning and thunder, it is very pleasant and unique.

In any case, if the weather is hostile, we will be the first to tell you if it is better to cancel, without any penalty. However, in 6 years of operation, this has only happened twice (and we are open both summer and winter). Usually, a window of time that allows for this experience can be found!

Are there bathrobes? What should we bring?

If you have booked the tub, you will also find bathrobes. You only need to bring flip-flops (to walk from the Yurt to the tub) and a swimsuit (if you wish). In winter, we recommend a beanie, as your head stays out of the hot water.

If we don't want to heat it, do we still have to pay for it?

Yes, the tub is a paid service, even if used cold, because it still requires maintenance and water changes. In any case, in our experience, to enjoy the service to the fullest, even in warmer temperatures, it is more pleasant with the water at least at 36°C (97°F) in the afternoon (body temperature) and at least 38°C (100°F) after dinner.

Is it possible to have extra wood? What does the relighting kit consist of?

Yes! Upon request, we provide extra wood, in addition to what is needed to relight the fire.
It is an extra service that offers two benefits:
- A hotter temperature, for those who love really steaming water
- Extra hours in the hot tub, especially in winter (recommended if you plan to soak both in the afternoon and after dinner)

What is the difference between your Hot Tub and a Jacuzzi?

"Jacuzzi" is often used for any hot tub, but it is actually a specific brand. Ours is a Hot Tub: a high-end circular tub heated by a real wood-burning stove. It offers a natural, deep hydromassage, where wellness meets the scent of wood and the crackling of the fire under the starry Tuscan sky.

I also booked the cinema. How does it work in this case?

If you do not add the hot tub, the screening will take place inside the Yurt. If you have booked both the Hot Tub and Cinema and would like to do them simultaneously outdoors (watching the film while you are in the tub), you will find the tub ready upon your arrival, perfect for after dinner.

If you would like to use it both in the afternoon and after dinner with the Cinema, you can add the relighting kit as indicated above. You can also decide to do the hot tub on its own at your preferred time and the cinema inside the Yurt at another time.
