Staying in a yurt is a unique experience.
Here are a few helpful tips:

Guidelines

• The glamping site is for adults only.

• Pets: Much to our regret, we cannot accommodate them because the yurts are made of canvases, fabrics, and rugs.

• Smoking and wearing shoes inside the Yurt are not permitted.

• Each Yurt offers total privacy, but in the silence, sound is amplified. Please keep this in mind to respect the natural tranquility of the place and the other couples.

• You must have your own vehicle to reach us

• There is a 1.3km stretch of unpaved road to travel, which is a bit rough in some places; if you have a sports car or a very low vehicle, you will need to drive slowly.

• "Countryside" is synonymous with peace and relaxation, but also farmers working in the fields.

• Nature evokes wonderful sensations… but don't forget that there is no real Nature without little creatures. We are guests in a kingdom that is already inhabited, which we at Due Cuori e una Yurta have chosen to respect by refusing chemical pest control. If the sight of an insect scares you, this might not be the right place for you.

• Depending on the wind, at certain times of the day you may hear noise from the distant Siena-Bettolle highway

Dining and cooking

If you decide to book one of our dinners, it will be delivered directly to your Yurt by our trusted restaurant, which will bring everything to you at your preferred time. You can choose from Vegan, Vegetarian, or Omnivore menus (gluten-free and lactose-free options are also available). The transaction will be directly between you and the restaurant, but we will handle all the arrangements and are always here to help. Click here for more information.

The Yurt is equipped with everything you need to prepare simple meals (microwave, toaster, kettle, moka pot, blender, milk frother, citrus juicer, and utensils, though there is no stove), a large refrigerator with a Minibar service, and a lovely outdoor Indian Barbecue.

As a complimentary gift with your stay, you will find a fridge in your Yurt stocked with plenty of delicious breakfast items so you can enjoy breakfast just like at home, plus a paid Minibar corner. You can enjoy breakfast in your Yurt at whatever time you prefer in the morning. As we do not have a food preparation license, our products are of the highest quality but are not prepared on-site.

Can I visit in winter? And what if it rains?

Absolutely, it’s actually quite unique! Each Yurt is well-heated and extremely cozy, making it the perfect destination for a winter escape from the city. Even in the cold, almost all our guests enjoy the garden and the area outside the Yurt, thanks to the blankets and hot water bottles we provide.

Furthermore, many guests find the hot tub experience even more magical in winter than in summer.

What should I bring?

• Socks (non-slip are best) or slippers for walking inside the Yurt.

• Flip flops or sliders (for outdoors and for getting to the hot tub).

• Swimwear (if you wish).

• In winter, if you book the wood-fired outdoor hot tub, we recommend bringing a beanie (since your head stays above the warm water and might get cold).

What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-in is from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM (by prior arrangement).
Check-out is by 11:00 AM.
